I have requirement for a mono audio application where a microcontroller send audio data to UDA1334BTS via I2S and the output of the DAC ic connected to a Class D amp with DC volume control.
Siince my application is only mono, I could use one channel to carry audio data and the second channel to carry volume data (I intended on generating some alarm sounds where the rise / fall time of tones are to be tightly controlled). But for this to work the analog output should be able to support DC output (0Hz).
The block diagram of the device only shows a low pass filter in the inverting config. Can the output of UDA1334BTS be driven at DC?
