目前我们公司使用的IMX6四核的CPU,很容易出现CPU挂死的现象,而且挂死的这个过程中,没有任何的打印,包括连上ARM的调试工具也无法识别,这种现象在我们在视频编解码的时候很容易出现,目前这边还没有定位到问题,不知道大家有没有出现类似的情况。还有我想请教下芯片上面的TEST_MODE怎么用?手册上没有详细介绍这部分的使用。

Q: Currently IMX6 quad-core CPU used by our company, it is prone to the phenomenon of death hung CPU, and hanging dead in this process, there is no print, including even the ARM debugging tool does not recognize this phenomenon in our video codec when prone, there has not been here to target the problem, do not know if you have a similar situation. And I would like to ask how to use the chip above TEST_MODE? Not detail the use of this part of the manual.

A: Hanging may be caused by:

1. ddr errors, recommended to run ddr tester

3. gpu bugs, recommended to use latest nxp bsp on link

你好,感谢您的回答。针对你提的问题我们也做了验证:

1、内存的问题,我们是有长时间测试,是没有问题的

2、电源的问题,arm的输入以及输出电源文波都非常好,在20MV以内,SOC的输入文波有点大,峰峰值在60MV,PU的文波也在20MV,而且当CPU挂死的时候,文波也没有变化。

3、目前我们可以认为是GPU先死,然后再导致CPU挂死,因为可以明显的看到画面花屏,我们有尝试将ARM电源拉低,CPU死后,GPU还是正常,画面没有花屏。下一步会尝试使用最新的BSP
