i.MX6ul with software package management system

Hello everyone,

I am developing a minimal Linux image for an i.MX6ul device using Yocto.

Apart from the image, I am planning to develop such a 'custom' software management system in order to update some applications and system libraries which will run on the device (e.g. similar to apt or yum). This means that on a remote server will act as a software repo and, eventually, new versions will be available and the device will have to download them by using an Internet connection (GPRS/3G).

I would like to know which is the optimal software management system for this kind of development and, if available, which layer/recipe should I add to my Yocto project.
