Hi community,

Our customer have a question about i.MX6DQ XTALOSC.
They will use external oscilator or clock generator to feed 24MHzto XTALI.
We understand the tolerance guidelines are written in Table 2-20 of IMX6DQ6SDLHDG Rev.1.
However, we did not find the requirement about jitter spec.
(e.g. period jitter, phase jitter, etc..)
Would you let me know the requirement jitter supec?

Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda

Generally, the jitter values must not exceed the tolerance values, given in the Table 2-20 of the i.MX6 series Hardware Development Guide document, on per period basis, i.e. the clock period deviation, caused by any kind of jitter, must not exceed these ppm values above on per period basis.

Best Regards,

Artur

Hi community,

Actually, our customer consider using clock generator to feed 24MHz clock.

To select which clock generator to use for clock feeding, please tell the required jitter spec?
