I want to download the android M6 image files in emmc on my board reference imx6q sabresd.

I have downloaded the following files.

・android_M6.0.1_2.0.0_image_6dqpsabresd.tar.gz

・android_m6.0.1_2.0.0_ga_tool.tar.gz

I referred the android_M6.0.1_2.0.0_docs/Android_User's_Guide.pdf, Getting Android source code(Android/kernel/u-boot) and then building Android images. As my board has no pmic, I delete the contents about pmic in u-boot.

I copy u-boot.imx to \mfgtools_m6.0.1_1.0.0_ga\Profiles\Linux\OS Firmware\firmware and replace to old one (u-boot-imx6qsabresd_sd.imx). Then open MFGTool to download image. I can enter u-boot command line, but it stop here.

Hi igorpadykov

Please, How can I delete PMIC from Linux? I don't see the instructions in the manual(i.MX_Linux_Reference_Manual.pdf). Can you describe it in detail?

Thank you.

Best regards.

Hi Niuyi

in theory it can be deleted, but I think it is not easy as it is integrated in many drivers.

NXP does not provide documentation for that, sorry.
