If reading distance is related to the chip power which of your newest chip

If reading distance is related to the chip power which of your newest chip is smaller and have more power tham Type A ISO/IEC 1443 NATG 213 NT2HI3II? Please consider the closest cost x benefit relation. We want to increase the Reading distance up to 10 cm at least.

Hello Jose Silva,

The NTAG21x ICs are passive targets, so they do not have power. The power is provided by the NFC Reader.

Reading distance will depend on the reader's power and antenna design, as well as the NTAG IC antenna design. From the NTAG side you can check the application note about antenna design:

In regards to NTAG selection, there is a comparison table in the product page:

NTAG|NXP

You can choose depending on the memory size requirements and whether you need the field detection feature and/or the I2C connection for an embedded system.
