Question of CAN transceiver on the MPC57XX mother board

Hello Team

Could you check my question about CAN transceiver on the MPC57XX mother board?

As you know, MPC57XX mother board is used “TJA1041T” for CAN transceiver.
However it cannot support for CAN_FD.

My customer is using MPC5777C and they are implementing for CAN_FD.
So I will recommend “TJA1043T” instead of TJA1041T.

Could you check the any problem about this?

Hi,

I can't see any problem. It's pin compatible device and CAN FD is supported up to 5Mbp/s.
