Hi,

 

Can you please suggest the solution for the issue.

When S12Z/ Magni V product is in Sleep Mode, will it deliver the regulated 5V output on VDDX.

When we are not using internal CAN transceiver of MC9S12Z can i remove the power supply components of CAN supply as shown components below and left open the pins of MCU.

Hi,

In Sleep mode all system clocks are stopped, the voltage regulator is in Reduced Performance Mode (RPM).

The voltage regulator output voltage may degrade to a lower value than in Full Performance Mode (FPM),

additionally the current sourcing capability is substantially reduced.
See Appendix B for VREG electrical parameters (num 4).

Vddc is power supply pin for internal CAN physical layer. See Figure 21-1. CAN Physical Layer Block Diagram in the latest S12ZVM ref.manual v2.10.
So f you do not use internal CAN, the external components for CAN supply are not needed.
