What do we need

I have some question about the product, JN5168-001-M00;

-          In case where we prefer the product, what do we need separately?

-          Is Code Warrior only option to program the product?  Are we going to need other software/s (free or not)?

-          Are there any alternative of Code warrior. If your answer is “no” what is the perpetual price of the CW

-          What kind of cable or hardware components do we need for programming the module?

-          As programming, which technology will we use? (UART,I2C..)

-          Can we develop our MAC, Routing or APP layers on only 802.15.4 PHY layer

-          What is the most economical solution for us?

-          Which do you recommend for us,  JN5168 or JN5168-001-M00

Hi Gungor,

It's depend what do you need, the final application. for example the JN5168-001-M00 has a printed antenna.

You will need Beyond Studio, and if your applications is about zigbee, you will need that specific SW.

The JN5168-001-M00 can be programable by JTAG.

Could you please tell us your final application?

We have another solutions like KW40, you can take a look

Dear Mario,

Thank you for your reply.

In fact, we have two final projects. First, a smart lighting application

with ZigBee for buildings.

Secondly, a smart city application , the MAC and Routing layers of which

will be selected or prepared by us.

And, could you explain what means "specific SW" for ZigBee. Is it a stack

or another software?

The beyond Studio will help you developing your applications and you will need the ZigBee Ligth Link software

ZigBee Light Link|NXP

Note: You only be able to work with all the applications standards, like ZigBee Smart Energy.

You can make a submit request for get the Zigbee 3.0 and follow the process
