Now there is a  medical automatic  injector instrument  project need  a MCU to control a stepper motor .

The MC34932 is planed to be  as the driver .

The KVxx is dedicated for motor driver . But the KEA xx seems more reliable.

The KEA series   and  KVxx  series  which is the best choice?

Hi,

It is really depend on your application, the requirement of your stepper motor.

Kinetis V Series MCUs are based upon the ARM® Cortex®-M0+, Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M7 cores and are designed for a wide range of BLDC, PMSM and ACIM motor control and digital power conversion applications.

The Kinetis EA series is an entry point to the broad ARM ecosystem and features:

  • A low-power ARM Cortex-M0+ core and 8–128 KB of embedded flash
  • Excellent EMC/ESD, high temperature and low radiated emissions
  • Scalable, highly robust performance solution for cost-sensitive automotive applications.

Attached you will find a PPT on this topic maybe helpful to you.
