ran a calibration on my crtouch with 4 wire resistive screen. was ok. ran again and got confusing values.

Question asked by Jason Warshawsky on Jun 30, 2016

So, I was able to run a calibration once.  It fixed the 0,0 origin and some accuracy issues.

Ran another cal to further test and it really messed up the functionality.

Found these values in the cal values registers (0x4f-0x5e)

D61C

B941

36A0

FEFA

FF28

00DB

0000

0000

I then set these values back to what the rev 3 data sheet says are defaults:

0x4000

0000

0000

0000

0x4000

0000

0000

0000

Now it always reports the x and y values as the resolution values of 480 and 272 no matter where I touch the screen.

Any ideas?

Are there other values to try?

I did not record the values after the first good cal.

thanks,

Jason
