On plugging the USB port of my FRDM-K22F with my laptop, a RED LED(D2) is continuously ON.  And may be because of none of the example codes been debugged. Can you please guide me to solve this issue. It will be helpful if the solution can be mailed also (@ sshiva2305@gmail.com ).

Thanking you in advance. !!!

Hi David,

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through the tutorial video but regarding this issue ( Red Led ) nothing special is mentioned.

Hi S. Shiva,

The red LED indicates that the device is in continuous reset state.

Have you been able to load an application and debug it?

If yes, then red LED should not be on.

If no, then you might need to re-install debugger firmware.

Please review following:

Summary of FRDM-K22F debug interface | NXP Community

With updated debugger firmware (this updates on the K20) you should be able to download application example to the K22.

If red LED still on, then you might have to visually check the board for defect or damage.

Regards,

David
