Hi J.T.,

You may look also at Body Electronic white pages:

http://www.nxp.com/files/automotive/doc/white_paper/BODYDELECTRWP.pdf

I would like to promote here also S12ZVC and S12VL devices. They are highly integrated CAN/LIN nodes with some of the unique features which may be interesting for you:

I hope it helps you.

Have a great day,
Radek

Dear Radek,

I will use 4-ch of CAN interface.so I don't use the magniV.

Do you know how i can use gateway and RKE and TPMS in BCM?

I'd like to use all of them in one chip.

Have a great weekend.

Regards.

Hi J.T.,

Personally I don’t have any such radio stuff, but basically, you interface it simply trough SPI or I2C

http://www.nxp.com/products/identification-and-security/secure-car-access/remote-keyless-entry:MC_71...

http://www.nxp.com/products/interface-and-connectivity/interface-and-system-management/advanced-auto...

As you mentioned 4 CAN channels, only S12XE family or MPC MCUs are possible to use (without simplest MPC5602B, MPC5603B, MPC5604B, MPC560xD derivatives).

Note: We are working also on next generation of GP automotive MCU with ARM core, but it is still not available and the first derivatives will have less than 4 CANs.

I hope it helps you.

Have a great day,
Radek

Hi J.T.,

Please look at automotive selector guide:

http://www.nxp.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/selector_guide/SG187.pdf

The recommended MCUs for Body Control Module and Gateway are MPC5668x, MPC560xB, MPC560xD, MPC564xB/C, MPC5746G, MPC5747C, MPC5747G, MPC5748C, MPC5748G, S12G, S12XE, KEA

The MPC5668x is rather Gateway.

The others MPC5 controllers are high-end Body Control MCUs.

The S12G(S12 core) and Kinetis KEA (ARM M0+ core) are rather Low-End Body Control MCUs.

The S12XE performance is something between S12G and MPC5 MCUs.

It depends how big computing power you need, how much CAN/LIN channels you need, what other interfaces you need, ….

About UHF receiver)

We could offer for example MC33596: PLL Tuned UHF Receiver:

http://www.nxp.com/products/interface-and-connectivity/wireless-connectivity/sub-1-ghz-wireless-solu...

or NCK2983AHN: Low Power Multi-Channel UHF Transceiver - Triple Receiver

http://www.nxp.com/products/identification-and-security/secure-car-access/rf-link/low-power-multi-ch...

I hope it helps you.

Have a great day,
Radek

Hi Radek,

I would like to find out more about the NCK2983. We are trying to design a generic key fob for a number of vehicles types and have a few questions. Don't know if you are able to answer questions about this chip. If so could you reply to hrachid@securewirelessllc.com

Hi Haysam,

Unfortunately, this device is out of my scope. I do not know this device and I am not sure whether we have public technical support for this type of device. I would like to recommend to create a service request (ticket) at Support|NXP.

There is a chance that somebody will forward you to the right person.

I hope it helps you

Have a great day,
Radek
