Just connect the output of the IR sensor to a GPIO and check the level. A high level means something detected a low level means no activity.

Just make sure you stay well into the limits of the GPIO specs.

sir we using a basic ir sensor which is of 935nm wavelength. its just to interface with lpc1114 as an example code. so as to see signal transfer.

Hello vin.8teen,

what kind of IR-sensor do you use? Opto-coupler ... IR-transistor connected to ground with pull-up resistor.

Or do you mean some received protocol to be translated via the LPCXpresso?
