Hi
I'm having problem with LPC2388 RTC
It stops working when power is disconnected
I have a 3V battery. The last date and time is saved in memory and when the power is reconnected RTC continues from the time of power off!

What do you think can cause this problem?
Thanks in advance

Yes
I have a 32.768 kHz oscillator on RTCX1 and RTCX2 and I have configured CCR to use external 32k oscillato, not PLL devider
RTC_CCR=0x21;

I quote the user manual 10211 chapter 26:

The VBAT pin supplies power to the RTC and the Battery RAM.

I never states that the main oscillator is powered  :eek: so you need the RTC's own oscillator which is a 32.768 kHz crystal between pin 23 en 25:D

Yes the battery is connected
I even removed the battery and connected and an external isolated 3.3V supply for battery pin (to make sure a constant and powerful supply is present)

What do you mean by crystal being "fitted"?
Thanks

[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=2]Have you fitted the 32 KHz crystal?
Is the battery charged and actually
connected to the Vbat pin?
