Dear Friends,

I am using LPC 1769 ARM Controller in my project (In PCB Design) . I am using LAN8720 Transceiver for Ethernet communication. So please anyone suggest me which Ethernet connector is suitable for my application.???

Still now we are using 8051F120 controller and CP2200 Transceiver with TYCO_6605752-1 Ethernet connector. Shall I use same connector or any other connector which is suitable for LPC1769 Controller???

And on what basis we can choose Ethernet Connector????

Thanks and Regards

Hareesha.

Dear Friends,
I am new to this Graphical LCD. In my application I need to display something. So I am preferring Graphical LCD. I went through NHD Graphical LCD products. How we can calculate as how many character, Number and images can display by that Graphical LCD???.

Thanks & Regards

Looks like a good choice, the connector i mean.
When using an lpcxpresso 1769 board then the leds are on board. Of course if you designed your own custom board it is a good idea to incorporate the leds into the connector to see if there is a valid connection and if there is activity. It is a nice to have feature even if it is only to debug faulty connections.
On the other hand those leds are not necessary.

Thanks for your suggestions .

Now I am planing to use PULSE JACK Ethernet connector (Series - J0011D01BNL ).It is having LEDs also. In its data sheet application diagram there is no LED connection form CONNECTOR LED pins to LAN8720 Driver LED pins. Is it necessary to give this connection or no need???

for reference:

Why i am asking this means In 8051F120 Controller with cp2200 Ethernet controller, we are giving LED connections from Ethernet connector to CP2200. so I am asking.

I used this MagJack (without leds, exists also with leds) for a 10/100 connection.

or just look for Stewart Connector, they have a nice range distributed by f.e. Farnell.
The only things to consider, in my humble opinion and Zero will surely correct me on this if i am wrong, is the speed 10/100 or 1GB and if you want leds in the connector.

And I need technical details(Data Sheet, Application Diagram.) of that connector.

Are there no distributors or MagJack companies in India?

This MagJack is made in TAIWAN , as described in its datasheet in link above:

Thanks for your replay.

I gone through the link what u have given. From that i understood full overview of Ethernet comm through LPC1769.While reading all links, some links didn't open in my PC. And I didn't get exactly which connector is suitable for PCB to Ethernet cable. And I need technical details(Data Sheet, Application Diagram.) of that connector.

Thanks & Regards
