i had to change the lines
[COLOR=blue]<import src="../common/" dest="driver">
<include>{type.h}</include>
</import>[/COLOR]
of lpc11xx_template.xml from NXP_LPCxpresso11C24_2011-01-07 examples
to
[COLOR=blue] <import src="../common/driver" dest="driver">
<include>{type.h}</include>
</import>[/COLOR]
[COLOR=black]so that the file type.h is also copied to the new project folder.[/COLOR]
