Is there an LPCXpresso board that has a CAN Controller? Something with the LPC1764 or similar?

If not, is there a drop-in compatible LPC with a CAN Controller that I could swap onto the LPCXpresso LPC 1343 board?

Thanks.

Yup, mbed has a cloud based online IDE and compiler with a reasonable library set.

Or you can use Eclipse and YAGARTO or one of the other ARM compiler toolchains.

Yes the JTAG cannot be used with an mbed the JTAG interface is used by its programming interface.

I think I found the answer in another post:

Quote:

The mbed board does not have debugger connections on it, so it cannot be  connected to an external debugger such as the LPCXpresso LPC-LINK.  However the LPCXpresso IDE can generate binary files which can be  programmed into the mbed board over the USB connection.

There's the MBED if you want CAN.

Thanks.  Can the MBED be used with the LPCXpresso programmer and compiler?  Or is it locked into using their online compiler?

Not at this time, NXP are doing some LPC11 series with CAN later this year.

There's the MBED if you want CAN.

Or a number of other LPC17xx series dev boards with CAN.

Unless an ARM7 is acceptable then there's devices such as the LPC2109. LPC2129

Other manufacturers include STM32F103

Or conversely you can add an SPI CAN controller to the LPC11 or LPC13
