The public beta of LPCXpresso for Linux is now available (version 3.7.1). To access this beta, login to the Code Red LPCXpresso site and visit the download page.

Please make sure you read the full release notes for details on the release.

Feedback via the forums welcome. Please ensure that you specify that you are using the Linux beta when posting.

[B]Supported Linux Distros[/B]

LPCXpresso is supported and has been tested on the following Linux distributions.

[B]Note:[/B] LPCXpresso for Linux is a 32-bit application, but may run  on 64-bit systems which have the 32-bit compatibility components  installed.

[*]Ubuntu 9 and 10
[LIST]
[*]for 64-bit versions of this distribution, the 32-bit compatibility  components must be installed. Note that without these components  installed, the installation program will not run. To install these  components from the command line, the following command should be  executed:

sudo apt-get install linux32 ia32*

[*]Fedora 12 and 13
[LIST]
[*]If SELINUX is used, it must be set to "permissive" mode to allow LPCXpresso to run.

[*]Other distributions
[LIST]
[*]LPCXpresso [B]may[/B] install and run on other Linux distributions.  However, only the distributions listed above have been tested. We have  no plans to officially support other distributions at this time.
