Hello, people

I retired resistors ( R31, R36, R35, R33, R32) and connected J5 in the Evalution Board. The Red Suite show when recorded programme in LPC2387 the following message:

Do I need to change some configured of Red Suite 4 or LPC-Link?

I used LPC-Link of LPC1343 Rev A and one board with LPC2387.

Thank you very much

Is first time that I recorded LPC2387 with JTAG. I used LPC11U14 for recorded. The code can not recorded in chip.

Did you ever get access to your 2387 with JTAG?

Which code is running in your 2387?

Did you try to switch your 2387 to ISP before using JTAG?

Did you try to erase your 2387 with FlashMagic before?

Do you know that can is wrong? Deleting the part of connections.

I'm confusion, because this doesn't work.

Thank you.

LPC2387 has no SWD, so a working JTAG is necessary for this chip ;)

JTAG and SWD require different connections, see:

http://www.support.code-red-tech.com/CodeRedWiki/HardwareDebugConnections?action=show&redirect=CM3_S...

Quote:

Normally where both modes are supported, Red Suite will default to using SWD mode.

So probably your LPC11U14, LPC1343 and LPC1769 are working with SWD :)

But for ARM7 SWD and JTAG are compatible, or not?

I trying whit various board for example: LPC11U14, LPC1343 and LPC1769. And any works in LPC2387.
All conections is right. What can is wrong?

LPC11xx is SWD, not JTAG.

You will find the connections for that on the red suite website, or by searching in this forum.
