Hi to you all, I just installed LPCXpresso: everything went fine and I was able to upload the example projects for the lpclink2 and to compile the freertos_blinky one with no issues.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to debug it.
Attaching the lpclink2 via usb I choose it in the menu shown in 1st attachment, the I selected for using a JTAG device and finally the 2nd attachment popped up.

I guess the JTAG choice was wrong?

I'm a newbie so, sorry if I'm not too clear in my explanations, but any help (also on how use this forum the best way possible) would be greatly appreciated!

You don't say what your target device or board is...

However as a target device can't be found it implies either you haven't connected correctly or not powered your device.

If that is not the problem, provide more details!
