In 2nd beta of LPCXpresso for Linux there are no wizards for C++ projects.

Is something wrong in my installation or they will come in the release version?

As I said:

The latest version of the Windows product offers the exact same options as the Linux product.

As we have already stated, C++ development is not supported in LPCXpresso.

I attached 2 print screens showing that Windows version has C++ wizards and Linux version does not.

Under Windows I created a C++ project and could compile it (debugging not tried yet).

Maybe I missed something but they are not the same.

Sorry, LPCXpresso is C only. If you want to carry out C++ development then you will need to purchase one of the paid-for Red Suite variants. For more details, please see:

I would like to come back to this topic:

Is there a reason why the windows version of LPCXpresso provides C++ wizards and the Linux version does not?

Does the C++ wizards come with the release version of Linux?

Thanks,
mrib

Thanks for the info.
But why are the C++ wizards in Windows version included?

Hello,

I see an available option: File - New - Project... - C++ Project

I thought that C++ was not suitable for microcontrollers with little memory.

I do not like C, much less C++ :D
