The freescale documentation suggests these versions:

· Redhat: 7.3, 8.0, 9.0
· Fedora Core: 1, 2, 3
· Debian: 3.1r0 (stable), unstable
· SuSE: 8.2, 9.2, 10.0, 10.2

Those are all pretty old.   Has anybody been successful with anything newer?

We've built with OpenSuse 10.3 (the most recent released version of OpenSuse) -- I'm planning on trying 11 soon.

All the recent KUbuntus get a good workout in the office too.

64-bit versions require some patches to ltib so it can find various utilities.

I'm using Fedora 5 & 6 without any issues.
