New LINECARD but without LPC810. Price LPC810 very jumped (over 100%) in distributors.

Stupid marketing!

And again, the world is analog, at least the world I'm aware of

They have you find a 'more digital' solution :p
Currently, I'm working on a LED driver with LPC812 (could also be LPC810) and I really like it.
If I had an ADC, I would measure bus voltage and current and program a control loop. Because I don't have one,
I use the analog comparator + SCT in a way HV9910 does. I described in the 'projects you did' thread.

But yes, I (too) have applications, where I definitely need an ADC and I'll choose LPC820 for these.

@NXP : We don't have yet a  statement whether or not LPC810 is NRND (soon)   :~
Don't forget, it's the ONLY device that can be programmed 'out-circuit' and then just plugged in - a feature
I might appreciate in my current project. Especially, if I have LOTs of uCs on a board....

LPC1114, LPC1549, LPC1343, etc, all of them also have ADC  :p

But that didn't ask the original question: Why LPC810/812 don't include an ADC? They were created for implementing smart sensors, weren't they? And again, the world is analog, at least the world I'm aware of

So, what was the result of such an investigation?

I always asked myself why the LPC810 part was too expensive. I wasn't aware that it had been marked as NRND  :(

Also, I always asked myself (again) why this part didn't include an ADC. Real world is an analog world, isn't it?
