Hi,

Just to note:
LPCXpresso LPC800 rev B board schematic shows PIO0_10-SDA and PIO0_11-SCL on page 5 on the LPC expansion connector J6

The pins P0_10 and P0_11 are indeed routed from the LPC812 microcontroller to these pins on J6. But the function on the LPC812 for pin P0_10 is SCL and P0_11 is SDA.

So CLK and SDA are swapped.

Hi A,

Indeed nothing wrong here, the remark is only made to make people aware that in default pin configuration the silk screen print can cause confusion: The LPC pin routing to J6 pin 40 and 41 ( PIO0_10 and PIO0_11) is correct, but the silk screen label gives the impression that PIO_010 is SDA and PIO0_11 is SCL. But that is the other way around in default configuration for an LPC81x !

Thanks for pointing out the possibilities to use the switch matrix to swap to pin function for these two open-drain pins.

Hi Pat,
Nothing wrong here.
You can assign any of them (PIO0_10/PIO0_11) as SCL and SDA through Switch Matrix.
Refer the User Manual for more details.
