USB-HID communication with 13213-NCB(Network Coordinator Board)

Hi,

I am using the 13213-NCB which uses the 8bit MC13213 mcu. I have the following questions:

1) Can this device be used as a USB-HID client for doing HID communication with a host PC?

2) The board has a SILABS CP2102 mcu next to the usb port. Is this the mcu that is used for USB connectivity?

3) Which mcu on the board should be used for doing USB-HID programming and communication?

Regards,
-EB

Hi,

1. not without adding external USB controller and communication code.

2. not as it is. The device contain no USB controller, or any code for doing USB communication.

3. the Sil labs IC is simply a UART to USB converter. It is not a USB device you can program. Please go sil labs website for details.
