Does anyone carry LPC2468 demo boards any more?  Some say they are obsolete.  Is this a controller that should not be used for new designs?  I don't see any indication that this chip is reaching end of life.  Thanks.

The LPC2468 is certainly not yet obsolete (see http://www.nxp.com/techzones/microcontrollers-techzone/longevity.html) but certainly for new designs I would recommend that you consider a more modern MCU based on Cortex-M3 or M4 (LPC17xx, LPC18xx, LPC40xx or LPC43xx) rather than an older ARM7TDMI based part.

This will give you lots of advantages including ease of use and debugability. There is lots of information around comparing Cortex-M to ARM7, for example:

But lots of people make LPC2468 based boards, so I don't see that you should have problems tracking one down. For example:
