I don't see why this cannot be done, after all both adapters must be CoreSight compatable.
When I try to launch the debugger in Xpresso I get the "No emulator/board available" dialog.
I am sure there is some tool setting that I need to change, however, it is not obvious to me.
I am sure some of you folks have pondered this before, and some have likely done it.
Please share.

Hi corwinb,

Sorry to have to dissapoint you; LPCXpresso does not support the silabs USB debugger. Red Suite (Full License) does support the Silabs debugger (see http://code-red-tech.com/RedSuite5/red-suite-5.php), but I'm not sure if the silabs debugger works with the NXP parts though.

If you want to know more on Red Suite, please contact Code Red since they provide support for their IDE.
