Hi,

I've been experimenting with the excellent LPC1114FN28 (DIP)chip on breadboard-projects, programming the chip using ISP.
I would like to be able to connect my LPC-Link 2 board to the LPC1114FN28 chip, so I can use single wire debug.

Could anyone tell me which connector/pins of the LPC-Link 2 board should be connected to which pins of the LPC1114FN28, since I am unable to find a clear description of the pins of the LPC-Link 2 board...

Thanks in advance,
Joost

Am I correct to understand that I could use the J6 connector of LPC Link 2?

Yes  :)

Could you please verify if I understood correctly that I would need to connect:

LPC Link 2 connector J6 pin 2 (JTAG_TMS_SWDIO) to pin 12 of LPC1114FN28
LPC Link 2 connector J6 pin 3 (JTAG_TMS_SWCLK) to pin 3 of LPC1114FN28
LPC Link 2 connector J6 pin 6 (JTAG_RESET) to pin 23 of LPC1114FN28
LPC Link 2 connector J6 pin 8 (GND) to pin 22 of LPC1114FN28

Right.

Don't forget to pull-up Reset and ISP and your board should work...

Thanks for your swift response.

LPC Link 2 connector J6 pin 8 (GND) to pin 22 of LPC1114FN28

(I have consulted sheet 5 of the LPC Link2 schematic at http://www.embeddedartists.com/products/lpcxpresso/lpclink2.php and page 26-28 of the LPC111x datasheet at http://www.nxp.com/documents/data_sheet/LPC111X.pdf).

Thanks in advance!

Just use a simple 4-wire connection:
