Hello!

Now I am learning how to use the debug printf view on the sample "Blinky" project via Keil MDKARM v4.6.0 + uLink2, where my target board is MCB4300 EVB.

I have referred the user guide on ARM website (http://www.keil.com/support/man/docs/ulink2/ulink2_trace_itm_viewer.htm).

However, I met some problem when I did Step 4: ITM Stimulus Port Settings...

I cannot check the trace enable checkbox since it is disabled, either the ITM Stimulus Port 0... (Please see the attached figure)

Does anyone meet the same problem? Teach me please! Thanks a lot!!! :)

Thanks for your reply!

I have found where the trace tab locates. Different from the documents said,

the trace tab for Keil MDK v4.6 is in:

"Target options..." button -> "Utilities" tab -> "Settings" button -> "Trace" tab

Hello,

most likely a different setting in the Debug tab will solve the problem:

- select JTAG and not SWD
- check SWJ box
- choose 2 or 5 MHz
