I got my M52277EVB on Friday - what a pleasure!! Thanks Freescale - this device is going to make you some serious money...

One question please - in trying to upload a new Linux-based kernel to the EVB, I seem to miss a library file libUnit_cfz.so which looks like a P&E device driver using the P&E BDM per your document BSP Targeting the Freescale ColdFire M5227xEVB User's Guide

Thanks, John Ulyate

There's a pretty good description of what you need to do in the
toolchain README:

/opt/freescale/usr/local/gcc-4.2.47-uclibc-0.9.47/README-m68k-uclinux.pdf

Section - 3.3.2.3.2 Installing P&E Drivers

Best regards,
Matt

Thanks for the reply Matt - I got the drivers from P&E, my problem is that I run SuSE 10.3_64 and the source is in i386 format - I think I will have to reinstall the i386 version of Linux
