Hello,

just got an error report by a user of ISP tool lpc21isp, which told me he is using a LPC4337
which reports a part id of 0xA001CA30.
This part id is not listed in User Manual UM10503 version 1.6 from 25 january 2013,
even when LPC4337 was mentioned on first page and also in version history
since version 1.3 (which was released around a year ago, mid 2012).

Is there perhaps somewhere a newer version of the user manual?

Best regards,

Martin

Hi Ken,

many thanks for all the valuable info.

Do you also have part id numbers for LPC18xx
which are not in last release of user manual UM10430 (Rev 2.2, 25 January 2013)?

Best regards,

Martin

Hi,

Confirming that masking is required for the to 24bits of Word1. Only the lower 8bits of Word1 should be used.
The UM will reflect this when released.

Thanks,
Ken

Hi Martin,

The next UM release will have these listed:

LPC4333, 0xA001CA30, 0x00000044
LPC4327, 0xA001CB3C, 0x00000000
LPC4325, 0xA001CB3C, 0x00000022
LPC4323, 0xA00BCB3C, 0x00000044
LPC4322, 0xA00BCB3C, 0x00000080
LPC4317, 0xA001CB3F, 0x00000000
LPC4315, 0xA001CB3F, 0x00000022
LPC4313, 0xA00BCB3F, 0x00000044

My LPC4357 (on MCB4300) delivers the following answer

Answer(Length=29): 'J(0D)(0A)0(0D)(0A)2684471344(0D)(0A)251002880(0D)(0A)'
-> Word0: 0xA001C830
-> Word1: 0x0EF60000

Booter-Version is 12.1

According to Word0 it seems to be a LPC4353 or LPC4357 (which is correct, because it is a LPC4357).
But Word1 is not in table, only allowed value (according to above user manual)
is 0x00000000 for LPC4357 and 0x00000044 for LPC4353.
It seems 0x00000000 for LPC4357 shall be 0x0EF60000 in user manual?

There is an errata for ISP command 'J', but this is for Booter-Version 11.2, not for Boot-Version 12.1.
