I have a new out of the box NGX LPC1857 board. I am using it with LPCXpresso and LPC-Link JTAG board.

I have built the NGX supplied projects, but when I go to flash them I get and error

Failed on connect: Ep(01). Target marked as not debuggable.
Connected. Was: None. DpID:     EDB6. Info: HID64HS12[/color]

The detailed error message is:

crt_emu_lpc18_43_nxp -flash-load-exec "C:\Temp\workspace18\periph_atimer\Debug\periph_atimer.axf" -g -2 -vendor=NXP -
pLPC1830 -wire=hid -s250 -flash-driver=LPC18_43_SPIFI_4MB_64KB.cfx -x C:/Temp/workspace18/periph_atimer/Debug

I have no problem in using the LPC-Link on a LPC1769.
No Speed test
SWD Frequency: 50 KHz. RTCK: False. Vector catch: False.
Packet delay: 0  Poll delay: 0.
Pc: (100) Target Connection Failed

The NGX projects for the 1857 come with the MCU set for 18230. I have tried changing the MCU settings to 1857 but get the same result.

I would appreciate any suggestions or help.

Thanks.

Thanks for the FAQS.

It turns out it was a hardware problem. The 10 pin JTAG provided by UcPros had the red stripe on pin 16 instead of pin 1.

Also, this board comes with a built-in self-test program. One of the tests is an Ethernet test. I spent a lot of time trying to get this to work before learning from NGX that the test firmware is defective. A note in the box would have been nice.
