MC9S12DT256 - PWM Pins set high on reset

I am working on a project that involves generating some PWM signals to run some motors. I can generate the PWM's and that all works fine. The problem that I am having is when I reset the chip the PWM pins are set high so the motors start spinning and then when the program kicks in they stop (as they should since the duty cycle is initialized to 0). Is there any way to have these pins stay low on a reset?
