I have fed the power from the external pin to LPC1769 EA development board. But what is see is that after sometime LED1 on the board starts blinking.

Is this an indication of something wrong or all is well (normal behavior).

Could someone please explain, what is going on?

Any form of input would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Suhel

Yes i have connected the external supply through J6-2.

I do not see any issues though.

Thanks for the reply.

There's nothing wrong with supplying the board via J6-2  :)

Probably you've connected USB to connector J3, but anyway, if there are no problems that's nothing to worry about...

Could be useful to describe which board you are using  :~

Is it the 'LPC1769 LPCXpresso Board' ?

Supply voltage is 4.8v from a regulator, with maximum sourcing ability of 1A (Max)
