Hi,

I developed a Energymeter on my MCB1700 from Keil(LPC1786). I'm using a Webinterface to visualize how much Energy my house is loosing due usage of old Washingmachines, freezers etc.
Everything works finde with the LAN on-Board.

I now want to switch to Wifi and I don't want to use a Wifi-bridge connected to the Lan-Port or something.
Is there a Wifi module which I could easily add to the board or replace with the LAN-Phy?  (Yes i want to design a new PCB)

I would appreciate your help guys.

regards
Sven

What is the data rate you are going to need?
What is the wireless band you could use safely in your country?
What is the distance that wireless signal has to travel?
If you need something to experiment with, best to look for ZigBee board available from Sparkfun.com.  Low datarate, long distances, very easy to interface with using AT commands and cheap as any wireless boards can get.
