Does NXP has plan to upgrade USB LIB version?

Hi sir,

Does NXP has any plan to upgrade USBLIB ?   
If i use this free USBLIB (v1.03), and NXP upgrade in future and modify many feature,  any risk of using v1.03? or i have to modify many files at that time?
