I am have CodeWarrior MPC55xx version 2.2, build 71004. I am using the ICDPPCNEXUS Debugger for CodeWarrior 128K Starter Edition Version 1.13 I am not able to get the board up and running. I hit the connect (reset) button (PEMICRO Connection Manager) to connect the P&E Nexus Multilink to the MPC5567 eval board. I am getting a ton of the same error:

Error: Error in ONCE status register during instruction execution.

This is occurring after/during the initializing ram section of the reset/startup stage of the debugger.Any thoughts on what is causing this issue?

Thank you,

Sean

Thank you for your answer..
That's a shame.. I can't belive it..
It's unbelievable..

But i did not find any guide on running code on internal Flash instead of RAM.. Or how to program on Flash..

Please, could you suggest me a guide, an "how to" to run code on a Flash memory?
Are here other actions that can transorm MPC5566 in a "mecanical sample"
I don't want to make wrong actions ANOTHER TIME...

Thank you, again.

I understood the problem: i erased the shadow memory and i censorde (secured) device.
Had i damaged evaluation board forever?

dwork,

Unfortunately, if you didn't program the shadow memory before RESET the MCU the device is essentially a mechanical sample.
The shadow block should never be erased unless you are extremely careful and reprogram the security information before reset.

This might be caused by debugger memory window being open pointing to illegal memory when the debugger is starting.  I'd suggest you to close the memory window and reset the the MCU.

Hi all,

Currently I have the same problem. I use ICDPPCNexus Debugger 64K Starter Edition Version 1.06 and the programmer is USB PowerPC Nexus Multilink from P&E Micro.

My compiler is Eclipse Platform, but I think it doesn't matter. I guess the debugger is not the problem as well. I suspect there is something wrong with the programmer or the processor. Is it possible that the problem is caused by unproper power supply?

Please update the solution in this thread once you get it.
Thank you so much.
