USB vs PARALLEL MON08 MULTILINK and In-Circuit Simulator

Hi,
we've used always the MON08 MULTILINK with parallel port with our MC68HC908GP32 micro and WinIDE development tool; we always debug our code with In-Circuit Simulator (code run in RAM, doesn't?) and only at the end we program flash.
Recently we've buy an USB MON08 multilink debugger-programmer and try to do the same, but the in-circuit simulator not recognize the usb-port. It works only if we first program flash and then run In-Circuit Debugger, but time of debugging is too long; what's the problem?
Thanks

Girmauro,

What revision of USB ML MON08 are you using? What is the firmware version number?

You have to make sure that you are using the latest P&E software.

Please submit a support request here: http://www.pemicro.com/SRS/main_screen_user.cfm

We will then provide you with the latest software that we probably solve your problem.

Best Regards,
Zahar

I'd run this by P&E support they are very good and should answer your question quickly.
