Hi ,
I am new to this so need some help but have some c programming experience.I have a 9S08QG8 and the demo board 9S08QG8..
I want to connect the demo board to hyper terminal and use the RS232 function to make serial communication.
I want to output a message to hyper terminal and then wait for a key to be pressed followed by Enter and respond with another message depending on the key pressed.Basically a menu system...
I understand how to do the menu system using say the switch statement but don't now how to set up the RS232 port and how to send and recieve using this chip.
Can anyone advise or give me a small serial program that works that i can modify for my needs ?
