L4025: This limited version only allows 1024 bytes of code

I'm using CW 5.7.0 build 2211.  CW Dev Studio for HCS12(X) v 4.6 build 6346.

Yesterday I was in the office, I successfully built my project, downloaded it, and debugged it.  I left CW running.  Today I'm at home, attached to my work computer over remote desktop.  I make one change to a source file (serial port baud rate divisor, so no major change to the project), built and receive "L4025: This limited version only allows 1024 bytes of code."

I know that I can't start CW while attached via Remote Desktop but did I just run into another limitation?

Thanks

Well, I would say you did run into the same limitation, ide checks its license when starting up, the linker when actually doing its job.

see also this (old) thread.

But I fear that Albans tip does not completely work for  8/16 bit, as you remarked.

Hello

If you wan to work through remote desktop you need a special license file with TS_OK in there.

I would recommend you to submit a service request to our licensing team for that.

Attach your current license.dat file to the service request.
