HI, There,
We have a device that does not have a battery. It seems that it can be shut down by removing power and reboot every time. The Android is Lollipop on a Sabre-based platform. Two questions.
1. The question is does Android or Linux has file system. What is the mechanism to make reboot successfully since removing power is like abnormal shutdown?
2. Would be any chance that the system will not boot up properly?
Many thanks for your looking and providing meaning answer.

HI Dale
yes both have filesystems. In general it is necessary to power off
device using methods suggested by used OS, for example poweroff
in linux, so current filesystem operations could be finished safely by OS.
If file system is damaged during sudden removing power, next time it
could fail to boot.
Best regards
igor
