Hi,

I installed S32 Design Studio and I updated it, but I cannot start a new project which supports the MPC5748 Microcontroller.

Anybody knows if I should install anything else?

Sorry for the silly question but I'm really going crazy in the NXP website!

thank you for the help

Leonardo

Hi Leonardo,

did you download S32DS for Power v1.0 (windows or linux)? If yes, it is not possible to update it (there is no update for this IDE yet).

S32 Design Studio for ARM does not support power architecture devices.

Hi Martin,

thank you very much for the quick response. I installed the right program now, for Windows, and I found the MPC5748 support.

Do you know if there is a PINout configurator?

I am looking for a program/tool like STM32Cube for the ST ARM uC, where it is possible to select the peripherals to use and it highlights uncompatibilities o unavailable pins.

Thank you very much

regards

Leonardo

Hi Leonardo,

I do not know STM32Cude, but from information I found it seems it is similar as RAppID. Please look at the following URL:

RAppID Initialization for Power Architecture|NXP

I also found EB tresos Studio, which could be usable too.
