Hi
I have one doubt i used yocto versions 1.6 and yocto version 1.7 for two projects. But main thing is we used kernel 3.0.35/3.10.17 versions for yocto 1.6 used .linux kernel version 3.14.28 for yocto 1.7 used.
May i know what is the main difference between 1.6 and 1.7 .is it depends on linux kernel version?
Thanks & Regards

Hi veeranjaneyulu,
generally speaking you should be able to replace the kernel version without problems keeping the same image created with older Yocto Project version. Consider that the YP version changes usually involve the GPU and/or graphical section so keep a coherent build system and environment is a best practice.
