Hi community,

Our partner have a question about i.MX6DQ uSDHC.

In Linux / Android BSP, the "keep-power-in-suspend" is set for all uSDHC in device tree.

To save power consumption, our partner want to remove this, but they have not done it yet because we don't know why it is set.

Would you let me know the intend why "keep-power-in-suspend"? Can they remove it?

Best Regards,

Satoshi Shimoda

Hi Satoshi

"keep-power-in-suspend" is described on

linux-2.6-imx.git - Freescale i.MX Linux Tree

>Would you let me know the intend why "keep-power-in-suspend"?

in low power modes  uSDHC and power supplies of other peripherals

are not turned off. Exceptions are given in sect.2.8 Unused analog interfaces

i.MX6 System Development User’s Guide

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/user_guide/IMX6DQ6SDLHDG.pdf

>Can they remove it?

this was not tested, so not recommended.

Best regards
