i.MX6Q PL310: Change size of L2 cache

Hello Champs,

Can we change size of L2 Cache such as 1MB to 512KB?

Seems like L1 cache size can be configurable by changing numbers of cache lines.

The i.MX6Q L2 cache size of 1MByte is hardwired within the chip and cannot be changed.

From "PrimeCell Level 2 Cache Controller (PL310) Technical Reference Manual"

L2Cache size seems like to be changed.

2.3.6. Cache Lockdown

You can use these lockdown mechanisms in the L2CC (PL310):

• lockdown by line (optional)
• lockdown by way
• lockdown by master (optional).

However I found a following sentence in the section.

"The Lockdown by master feature is optional. You can only implement it if you define the parameter pl310_LOCKDOWN_BY_MASTER, see Cache configurability.

Can we change i.MX6Q L2 Cache according to the PL310 TRM?
