how do we measure power dissipation for the T2080 running just one core?  thanks!

No.

The table is for the core, not for the thread.

Please refer to the T2080 Data Sheet Rev.1, Table 10. T2080 Rev 1.1 single core/single cluster low-power mode power savings, 1.0 V 105°C. The table contains power saving numbers of the dual-thread core for all lower-power states.

Please consider that disabling a core through the DCFG_CCSR_COREDISR corresponds to the PH15 power management state – i.e. resulting saving is equal to PH10 + PH15.

If we want to estimate the power saving when disabling multiple cores. Shall we multiply the values in table 10 by the number of disabled cores ?
For example,  is the power saving resulting to the use of 1 out of 4 cores only equal to 3x(PH10+PH15) i.e 3,69 W at 1,8GHz ?

Regards,

Benjamin

Thank you.

As there are 2 threads per core, wouldn't it even be : 3x(2xPH10+PH15) ?
