I have downloaded the SDK for e500 core, CodeWrrior for PowerPC and also we have USB TAP.
But am unable to understand how to install SDK and build images that can be loaded to the target board.

And definitely check out the Yocto Quick Start manual (yocto-project-qs.html) located inside the SDK source ISO at
sdk_documentation/pdf/yocto/yocto_quick_start
Hi Ashwin,
Look at the contents of the QorIQ SDK V1.9 source ISO, and you will see in the root the SDK manual: QorIQ-SDK-1.9-IC-RevA.pdf. There is also a directory titled sdk_documentation that contains many other documents including the yocto project docs.
Keep in mind that the SDK utilizes the Yocto Project as its foundation for building the Linux distribution. Therefore, you may want to join the project's mailing lists and look at its Wiki in addition to the official docs: yoctoproject.org
Good luck,
Bob
