The support from our RTOS provider claimed that -

"queue manager and frame manager cannot be reset  and so the dpaa network cannot be reset."

is it so ??? And if it is not so, what is the best way to reset the dpaa after using it some time, and then reset it and start using it again, without reseting the application.

The question is so old but did you find a way to restart DPAA?

In fact, it is possible to perform "warm" reset of DPAA but it is not documented in DPAARM and P2041RM. The warm reset may not completely reinitialize the logic the way a Hard Reset will.

I'm not sure if this functionality is widely demanded. If you want to obtain more information on this functionality, please, create a service request to NXP support.
