Can a Kinetis K70 be soft reset but still maintain the contents of external DDR2 accessed through the DDRMC for use after the restart?

Hi xx ofeval,

    As you know, if the power is not off, the contents of the external DDR2 will be still stored.

  The soft reset won't power off the DDR2, so the contests in DDR2 won't be lost.

  But, about the access through the DDRMC, you can check the DDR register, you will find, if the MCU is reset, no matter soft or hardware reset, the DDR register will back to the reset data, so you need to configure the DDR register again after the software reset, then the external DDR2 can be accessed again.
